Cinders Mod

I've heard a lot about this but I'm struggling to find exactly what it encompasses.

I'm also hesitant to use any kind of mod. If I go into Offline Mode, install the mod, play through the game, and the uninstall the mod, I assume I won't be banned or anything right?

If I decided to play online with it, I understand I'll be softbanned. Can I reverse this when I'm done?

Is there a community of softbanned players for co op?

Can a softbanned player co op with someone who isn't banned if a password is used?

If you get banned you will be exiled to another server that only contains banned people and no you can't play with unbanned people, not even friends unless you family share another game version.

If you play a mod offline and remove it before going online again the game won't detect it which means you're safe. Just make sure the mod is gone before you log on again incase you're worried.

In terms of what the mod has to offer i suggest you check out streamers that ran the mod.(Lobos comes to mind) or you just check nexusmod itself and read the description.

Simple play in offline mod that solve any problem if however you want go back to vanilla uninstal cinders and remove cinder save file and you can easily go back to online vanilla without any problem
