also the weapon art is good at securing kills for low life enemys (much better than throwing daggers because of the spread) and do a good ammount of damage overall anyway (much more than simple throwing daggers and just as fast)
also try and use the weapon art for more than the daggers, the strong attack is strong and you can actually use it to escape sticky situation (if you have lock on off anyway)
I haven't experimented much with the combos out of the L2 but I'll keep that in mind.
Interupt the opponent casting a spell, apply presure when the opponent is rolling away (the follow up R2 lunge works great in combination with this), try and deter the opponent who is persuing you, etc.
