Best Dual Wield Weapons?
I been playing a dual wield character for a few hours now (Near the nameless king) with basically the sellsmen swords throughout my gameplay. While I do enjoy the weapon and dish out a ton of damage, I thought to myself it has to be something better. I picked up a few dual weapons with smiliar attack but did not want to toss everything into the pot just to be disappointed.

My question is what should I look for, I prefer a PVE weapon but finding a PvP version of top of the line would be nice to have in my back pocket. What should I use? Once again mainly asking this for PVE but you can add PVP weapons in there also if you have the extra knowledge. I also do not want weapons that rely on FP, but if it does; feel free to add it, just give me a heads up.

40 Dex (still building on str) so Dex scaling is cool to have, but str could benefit also.
If you do know the full level end results with gems, etc...please include that also.

I watched youtube videos but most are from game launch and the game been patched quite a few times so looking for a more up to date source.

A certain scythe got you covered.

Btw, go try the drang twinspears it got a fast rolling attack like pre-nerf gotthard but worse tracking.

sellswords are awesome all throughout.

I love onikiri and ubadachi, it's got great damage, scales with dex, a stylish move set, and the weapon art is great for pve because it can stager everything from shirtless hollows to even black knights and it's also pretty good in pvp. Just be careful because most players know how to dodge an even punish the weapon art so be careful

Basically all of the dual weild weapons are good, sellsword, gravewarden, gottards, drang spears, oni&ubi, friede scythe. Use whichever gem gives you the most damage relative to your current build, if you're going 40/40 dex/str this will most likely be refined although oni&ubi will probably be better without an infusion. Then slap on your favourite Buff/resin and have fun. Oni&ubi and the gravewardens will probably benefit from carthus rogue the most the others it doesn't really matter which you use.

On a side note the bandit daggers are weak and the drang hammers aren't great, not terrible and a lot of fun to use, but not as good as the other weapons.

Hope this helps. Have fun!

The Warden Twinblades are amazing for me. They're great for both PvE and PvP because of their good damage and bleed (oh the bleed~), they look great, and they're so fun to use. They have insane DPS when buffed, and equally astounding bleed proc (every other hit when buffed with Carthus Rouge and a Luck stat of 40).

Winged Knight Twinaxes. They don't get enough love.

They are a superb Quality Weapon, with a lot of combo potential, and can quite easily out damage the Drang Hammers.

Yeah, but how many people do you actually see using them?

Not many.
Probably since there's maybe two enemies in the game that drop them, and the Drang Hammers are just there in the Cathederal of the Deep.
