Message Rating

I accidentally gave a very helpful message a poor rating, is there a way the rate again?, do messages eventually get deleted anyway? should I feel guilty about this?

Yes, you potentially ruined that persons game cred for life. It is a blemish that will never be removed and you should feel horrible you bad bad person >:l~

On a more serious note, no idea if it can be removed. As for messegaes being deleted. Don't think so? Not sure but I once found the message of a long deleted toon so.

On a more serious note, have done it myself. Felt bad then got over it :v~

In Dark Souls, ratings are ratings. I wouldn't doubt that downvotes heal the messengers.

I've always wondered if From designs levels with message trolling in mind. Do you think Miyazaki leans over his staff's shoulders and says things like "Yeah, put a hole there, and an outcroping there" or "Slump that corpse over the railing so its butt is in the air" or "Make that gap slightly too thin for the played to fit through." And then we inevitably get spots littered with "try jumping" and "try tongue but hole" and "fine work, fatty!"

Thanks for the replies everyone, very helpful :D the Dark Souls community is one of my favourite, you wouldn't expect a game as crushing and difficult as this to attract the nicest and enthusiastic people :D

Well, Dark Souls probably has jsut as many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as good, upstanding people. It's probably better than most communities because of the weak whiners being weeded out.
