Sellsword Twinblade or Gotthard Twinblades?

I'm going to use the Pontiff eye rings, but I don't know what I want to use lategame. Also with 40/40 should I go sharp (I'm going to be maxing dex first) or Refined? It seems that the damagge from refined is only 2 more. If you have any recommendations for other weapons that would work let me know. I am currently using Sellsword +3 becausee that is all I have access to right now (I've only beat Vordt and am farming the tree which gets destroyed by the twinswords).

personal preference man. play around with both and see what suits your playstyle better. sellswords are cool and have a pretty devestating combo. gotthards are more versatile and have longer reach

gotthards are more versatile but sellswords got that OP combo so you dont even need to be good to do well with them.

Dancer's blades might be one of the worst weapon in the game XD

Refined as your doing a quality build. I would reccomend both, Sellswords will for sure get combo and probs activate rings, Gotthard WILL activate rings as it has a lot of attacks in its combo

They aren't bad early on, but once you get to well farron keep and on they take quite a dive.

Both, if your going more for hp(left eye ring) i would go for sellsword as it has more dmg, if your going for the consecutive hits dmg buff(right eye ring) I would go gotthards, It may do better dmg than sellswords when you hit combo with gotthards, probs not

you can do pve just fine with a broken straight sword but that doesnt make it a good weapon ;)

That is about the time I switched back to the sellsword. I think that the gotthard swords have maybe 20 more base damage when everything is maxed.

I've read somewhere that dancer's enchanted boss swords are one of the highest damaging dual weapons (or high dps)

or something along those lines, but I don't really use them myself as the movement is a little bit weird lol
and too slow for me
