Things change between 'Souls games, and it's kindof a good thing, too. Gives me a reason to return to 1 or 2.
pretty much. if you're confident in your pvp skills you could also just equip a great axe too and bait them to get close lol. doesn't work as well as a shield/lance combo but it's hilarious when it does work.
It really isn't. All it's atributes rank between "meh" and really bad.
- Poor tracking
- Slow
- Meh damage
- short reach for what it is
- small hitbox
- high stamina consumption for the little damage it does
It's pretty much as ghetto as it gets. And what makes it basically competely unusable for pvp is the fact that the attacks are so slow and telegraphed that a blind man can parry them. And since it does so little damage there is very little risk involved in trying. It can be used to riposte or backstab people, sure. But there are weapons that are way lighter and do more damage for that.
