Oath of sunlight and sacred oath

Hi,

I wonder what use is the spell sacred oath.
It takes two spell slots, and seems it boosts damage less than oath of sunlight.

Tested on darkwraith at farron keep perimeter. I do 701 damage to the wraith with sunlight spear when sacred oath is active, I do 711 with oath of sunlight.

Moreover, sacred oath costs more fp.

Sacred Oath lasts longer and is effected by Lingering Dragon Crest ring. Also not every faith build uses the Sunlight Straight Sword.

Sure but the sunlight straight sword is easy to put in a hand hotbar :)
Though ok for the length effect.

For now I'm farming darkwraith for pale tongues, so I use oath of sunlight :)

I wonder how good is the sunlight straight sword at +5 as a main weapon... or if this sword is good only for the buff...

Its pretty high in AR if you have faith and buff it with lightning blade or DMB.

DMB is darkmoon blade? I have 60 faith and both spells.
btw what use is blessing blade? I mean, the regen is small, the damage is low. So it is useful only against reanimated foes? I think I never used it once. Maybe I'll do in NG+ in carthus catacombs, but...
