Llewellyn Shield no longer the favored parry shield?
See a lot more people running with Iron Round Shield now, and hardly any love for Llewellyn Shield anymore.

♥♥♥♥♥ what?

I see equal amount Iron Round Shield and Llewellyn Shield.

Edit: Actually I'd say I see slightly more people use Llewellyn.

It used to be more popular than Pewdiepie.

It has better stability for it's weight, so

i didn't realize those two shields were better for parrying. i keep trying to use a buckler and failing. maybe i should switch it up.

It doesn't have the extended parry, but apparently it's weight and stability make it favored for having a shield with parry instead of the weapon art skill... I just use it 'cause it suits my fashion souls.

The buckler has better parry frames, but worse stability.

Iron Round Shield doesn't have the extra parry frames that Llewellyn has?

Try the target shield. It has the most frames. You can still block a few hits from a 1h straight sword spammer then parry them.

they aren't, they just offer a balance between blocking and parrying.

Or you can do it the patrician way and cast magic shield on a buckler.

I just don't like the look, I usually use either the Rusted Iron or Hawkwood's. I don't block a lot anyway, usually just being able to stop one hit is all I need.

Iron shield looks so bad. Llewellyn is still one of the best small shields and looks good.

I didn't even know there were better shields for parying ;;
Parrying dagger forever.

Full grey? Super boring. Iron shield looks good with certain armors, but with shiny, silver armors Hawkwood's is my go-to shield.

Speaking of the parrying dagger, if you have the curseward greatshield in your left hand and parrying dagger in your right, will the parry be extremely slow, due to the shield's weight, or extremely fast, due to the dagger's?
