HNNNNNNNNNNGH
Wolf Knight GREATsword: the only sword that lets you kill someone with a frontflip
Friede's Great Scythe(s): Farming tools have never been better
Astora's Greatsword: who DOSEN'T like a useful weapon art in comparison to a sluggish one?
Farron Greatsword: hew, watch while i block with my Curse Ward Greatshield and then suddenly parry you!
Kick's Freides ass too on wakeup. Lmao. Poor thing can't handle the stunlock and the bleed is nice too when Hollowed on a Luck build.
But the overall favorite has to be Corvian Greatscythe. Especially now that it has hyperarmor on the WA.
Farron GS: awesome feeling of special attacks and uniquness.
Cons: heavy quality weapon, 40/40 is a must, but its an UGS, so 40 endurance is a must have and heavy poise is also required to protect hyperarmor. Also playing without blocking is hard.
MLGS: stylish, powerful, ranged bursts useful in PvE, weapon art feels like shoting with a shotgun.
Cons: magic damage that is useless against certain PvE enemies, abusing bursts quickly breaks the weapon, both bursts and WA are useless in PvP because they are easy to dodge.
Drakeblood GS: awesome design that is realistic and practical for once.
Cons: buffing is a must-do requirement to be PvP viable, shortest range among Greatswords, 2h r2 are side-sweeps for some reason, even though the sword is perfect for thrusting.
Could easily be a straight sword instead. Wasted potential.
Storm Curved Sword: awesome design, funny wa, dragon-related (made out of soul of one), high reach.
Cons: WA is useless and has little practical purpose, ♥♥♥♥ damage of 375 with 40/40 2h even though its literally the heaviest curved sword (5kg). Why must you torture me so, Frommy?
Lothric Straight Sword: best straight sword in my book. Awesome design, high reach, full set of R2 thrusts.
Cons: its a generic straight sword, also as all Lothric items it looks rusted and way too old for some reasons. Cleaner version is required.
Honorable mentions: Lothric UGS, Astora UGS, Black Knight weapons, Gotthards' Twins.
Conslusion: no perfect weapon in this game for me. Not now at least.
Hoping that next DLC will bring something worthy of a dragon knight.
well dam now i have to do a miss fortune build
