Play same account, two different PC's?

At the same time? I'll be getting a new PC (currently using a gaming laptop) in about a month and was wondering whether this was possible. I assume it's not and that it likely falls under bannable behavior, but figured I should ask anyways.

If it is indeed possible I was only planning on doing it either to play co-op with a friend who doesn't have the game and/or to transfer items b/w characters more easily.

Unless if you do some weird wizardry, I invaded people who were playing on the exact same steam url and account yesterday. Noobplayer but profile is private, and didn't respond to my friend request.

It's not game dependant.

You can only be logged in to the same account from one computer at the same time. If you want to play laptop when you are away, and PC when you are home, it's more than possible. But not at the same time.
