How work vow of silence miracle?

Hi,

How does this spell work? It prevents casting spells, including our own, but... The aoe is calc when we cast the spell? Or does the aoe moves with use?

So do I have to go close to the enemy and then cast it? Or can I cast it and go near the enemy after?

I have read this spell makes the fight against Aldrich much easier, but I wonder in fact because Aldrich does not cast that many spells when I'm near it. He is dangerous mostly at a distance so out of the spell range.

it only affect around where you initially casted *if you played ds1 much like tranquil walk of peace*

I played ds1 but don't remember much.
Do we have a tip if the enemy is affected?
I guess miracle buff does nothing for this kind of spells so better use bellvine to cast it faster?

When you casting it then the area of effect is calculated and applies on every prone creature. After then the AOE circle is irrelevant, it does not move with you.

Thanks for the info. Then I could maybe try a run with high thrust defense and cast that to avoid his spells :)
