Camera way too fast with Controller
Hey guys, so I wanted to play a bit of DS again and realized, that my camera movement was all over the place. I am playing with an Xbox One Controller on wireless, but tried a wired alternative after reading a thread about that problem.
My camera sensitivity is already on 0, my mouse movement is also on 0.
What I have seen is that my right stick now controls the ingame mouse too, and I am not sure if that was the case before. I also found a tip there deactivating the steam big picture setting for Xbox controller support to Off should help, but I am unable to find that option.
I made sure that game and controller software are uptodate, but nothing happens. Did someone encounter that problem recently and knows how to fix it?

Open big picture mode and try looking for community configurations of the controller. Just put on the most upvoted one.

The right joystick actually controls the mouse AND the camera in ds3 so the speed is added up and makes the sensitivity go crazy.

try a different combination maybe? open menu and see if your right joystick controls the mouse. if it does then you didnt do it right. if it doesnt then idk what the problem is

What I did was to uncheck all of the controllers in big picture mode. It worked but now you can only use a Xbox one controller, ps4 doesnt work.

Go into your steam controller configs and make sure that the right analog stick isn't connected to the mouse in any way. It should tell you if it is.

So go into steam big picture, then library and then Dark Souls 3. There should be an option for settings and then controller configuration.

First make sure that in your steam settings the most appropriate controller is selected. Then, in steam, in the Dark Souls 3 controller configuration choose a configuration that you think may work. I use "proper controls" or something like that. A bunch of them work just fine

Right click dark sauce, controller settings. In both the menu and game presets, change any joystick that says "joystick mouse" to "joystick move".
