Armor for a highlander build

Thought about making a highlander cosplay, of course using the claymore, but i am not sure which armor looks the most like a highlander. Any ideas?

I would suggest the Millwood Knight armor for the chest piece..... and maybe the Northern trousers for the legs? Not sure how well they'd match, you'll have to chec

Brigand armor, hard leather legs, chainmail helm, nameless knight gauntlets, claymore/broasword, hard leather shield. best i can think of but it lacks the kilty look from history, and the fur look from hollywood
