Buffs do not scale with faith?

Hi,
When I add a lightning blade on my weapon, for instance, the damage does not scale with faith? It is just relative to our spellbuff?
Therefore having 40 or 60 faith is irrelevant?
And so high faith is only for attack spells ? Even heals are not affected by high faih?
And so the point to go 60 faith is only to use attack spells?

Buffs don't but Infusions do, 60 Faith is going to give Lightning Weapons savage damage output.

Oh btw forgot about something. The spellbuff of a chime scales with faith isn't it?
So indirectly the buff scales with faith?

Increasing faith increases spellbuff which increases buff damage.

Its also of note that blessed weapon scales your weapon ar by a fixed amount and wont be impacted by the spellbuff used to cast it.
