They can let you have more chance to attack or rolling,
More importantly, increase your fault tolerance. This is very important in pvp.
But if you are planning to play sl100/120/130 knight bulid PVP like me, it is best to only on to 35 and using prisoner's Chain.
Thank you, good to know that small weapons don't require Stamina management, usually. I might think about using shield, though, so maybe this does weight into the Stamina.
I agree with you, fault tolerance is very important, also for bosses which are most likely the main problem for me. Although some common enemies can be pretty tough, Lorthric Knights for instance. No idea how to proerly deal with them.
I will think about using 2H and not investing into Stamina or going shield + 1H and do investing into Stamina, thank you guys!
Having lot of stamina is recommended when you use shields for blocking attacks (medium shields and greatshields).
Parrying shields and small shields are rarely used for blocking (atleast more than one hit at a time), so stamina isn´t as important.
Do remember that 2-handed attacks do cost a little bit more stamina than 1-handed attacks.
For example you might be able to do 5 attacks with 1H or 4 attacks with 2H.
i would fine tune it so you have the exact emount of endurance necessary to do 5 attacks with two-handed R1(if you normally go two-handed), the final attack being used with only a tiny pixel of stamina left, so that way your stat points are most efficient. just for an example: with 29 endurance i can do walk-up 5 R1s but it requires me 55 endurance to do 6 R1s.... so i think 5 R1s is enough for SL120-125 but if you are much higher SL then just do whatever you want for fun. use the restat trick at Rosaria to fine tune builds
