If the difference between you both is too big, you can't coop without password.
Just set a password, and you will be fine.
found this in the wiki:
Password Matching (as seen in Bloodborne Online) is a feature and disregards the aforementioned soul level and weapon upgrade level matchmaking in lieu of a normalizing adjustment to phantom attack power. Password matching DOES NOT allow you to summon a friend in a cleared area with a White Sign Soapstone. However, you can still summon them using a Red Sign Soapstone.
The abyss watcher fight you place at the perimeter, the fight thats after that with the due you gotta kill the rings aroudn the arms for you just put it outside near the bridge or so.
It doenst matter if you use a red or white one.
It really does not XD
The red ones are intended for PVP. Not for 'cleared' areas. Unless you want to pvp, i wouldnt say do it.
Host (Boss alive) does not place whitesoapstone.
The guys who have cleared it cant summon, but be summoned to do it.
