Lothric Knight Sword Discussion!

So i'm trying to use the LKS because I love the speed and look of the sword. I'm just curious if a refined gem or sharp gem is better and what stats coincide well with them? If their is anything you guys could share about better builds for it comment them.

The lks shines the best from mid up to meta. At around lvl 60 you’d want to run a dex build and sharp infuse it. You can hit 40 dex at lvl 60 if you stat properly. For higher level builds you can use a refined gem for a quality build, the lks does very well with that as well. If you are talking about meta level (120-125) a dark infused lks is an absolute beast, at 30/30 faith and intelligence and around 20/20 strength and dex at +10 the lks has an attack rating of around 500 I believe. Faith and intelligence builds can also benefit from lightning and crystal infusions respectively, as long as they have the stats to use it.

I'm new so this is all kind of confusing, i'm mostly looking for most physical damage.

RN i'm using sharp gem and have 35 st and 35 dex, should i go all dex?

there is no discussion here. this is the best weapon period

insane scaling, quick as dagger, low stamina, low weight, longest short, thrust/slash combos, what more do you need.

If you want to use other weapons /most weapons in the game once in a while keep your stats (or go to 40 and 40 or higher depending on your SL goal) and refine the lothric sword with refined or sharp. Whichever give you the highest number before confirming it in the menu. - it's probably sharp.

If you want the most damage with that one sword then respec to 50 to 70 Dex depending on if you care about every tiny point and only get enough strength to use the sword. Then make it sharp

So I should just scale my dex as high as possible.
