Vordt - Build
Hi,

i've already finished the main game thrice and Ariandel twice (a Pyromancer, a build around the Wolnir Holy Sword and one with the "ouroborus" raw Falchion and the rest in Defenses).

After like a year has passed, i wanted to return to get through it again including Ringed City for the first time. As I'm a little out of shape, i'd like to run a build that is quite potent. The Vordts Great Hammer + fire damage seemed like a good idea to me as i always wanted to play it and all of it has a Lord of the Rings feeling to it.

So how should i orient my stats for this? like how much strength is advised for such. And what would be the best long range options here (crossbow i guess)

Vordts great hammer + fire damage? So I'm assuming you want go for a pyro build but using vordts great hammer?

ahh no i wont :D i meant using vordts Hammer and after the frostbite is dealt i immediately deal fire damage so the frostbite is reset. with a torch, fire lunge, fire dagger or such. so no pyromancy (apart fromthe lunge)

I recommend an off-hand rapier for quick pokes. If you come across an invader, try to get them to panic so as to hit them with the hammer by utilizing the pokes. You could use the estoc in place of the rapier for the L1 waggles, but it doesn't have the flashy parry.
