The best INT and Faith scaling weapon + what type of mage is better?

I enjoy playing magick a lot but unfortunately mage isn't so op like in the previous series this is why I am looking for changes..

My questions are:
1. What is the best way to build mage? Sorc, Miracles or Dark Caster? I loved idea being Glass Canon in DS2 with Santier Spear.
2. What is the best scaling weapon for mage with INT and the mage with Faith? Maybe INT/Faith build?..

Dark sorceries like great soul dregs and affinity work extremely good. I think the best staves are Murky Longstaff and Izalith staff (specifically for int/faith). I think Izalith staff is better with regular casting but Murky longstaff + weapon art is better because it specifically buffs dark spells.

I am 94 level and right now I have 33vit/30 for slots/60 int, no idea what to do more.

What is your faith at? If you are doing pure int, just use court sorcerers staff.

If you want to do a ton of damage, use a dark herald curved gs with 30/30/30 str/int/faith, or make it chaos if it's for PvE. Of course, the weapon you want to use depends on your build. Is it a caster build?

As for the best caster, a sorcerer is the best way to go for PvP, miracle is best for PvE. Are you looking at the melee weapons or casting for the caster?

1.
The best way to make a faith or Int build is to reach the soft cap (60), and then using the staff/chime/talisman with the best spell buff. If you're an offensive faith build I would more recommend using the canvas talisman which can poise cast.
To make an int/faith build, level equally both stats, softcap is 40/40. Then use the staff made for dark sorceries. Don't use dark miracles, it's trash. With a int/faith build, you can also use pyromancies, so dark casters are also pyromancers.
2.
The best weapon for elemental infusions is the lothric straight sword, it gets S or A scaling from what i remember.
If want to be a melee caster you can also level str or dex at 40, infuse your weapon with sharp or heavy, and then buff it with a spell

Then I recommend the claymore for minimal stat investment. If you want to mostly be a caster, you'll want to use something with low stamina use, like a straight sword or dagger.

Highest you wanna go sl wise is 120-125 thats the max cap for sl. I do sl 125 and I have no problem finding worlds to invade or co-op in.

Keep in mind most people do password summons nowadays for co-op than just placing their sign down unless you are at pontiff or any of the DLC's then you will see plenty of random summon signs. It's easier to ask for help on the forum than wait for some rando to place their sign down.

SL 30 or 60 also works well to if you like to do low sl invasions and co-op.
