The NPC right before you walk all the way to the first bonfire at Ringed city

Anyone know if he is important? I was foolish and thought he was a mob. Killed him. He mumbled something after I killed him. I hope he wasnt important for a quest or something.. I looked all over the net and cant find anything on him.

Just finished killing those demon bosses and was trigger happy!

It is right when you first zone in from killing the demons bosses. You walk a short distance down the hill and he is sitting on the left. Looks like a bag of rags. I figured it was one of those hollowed that sits around. A few more paces down the hill and you are to the 1st campfire in the Ringed City zone.

Not him. I havent really started the zone yet. Right now I am up on the hill looking down and a whole bunch of mobs spawned are are shooting at me.

If you're talking about the NPC by the archers, then no, he is not important.

That is a Corvian NPC I believe much similar to the one (if not the same one in theory) that appears right at the start of the Ashes of Ariandel DLC. Killing him does nothing I believe. Does no hinder any of the actual quests in the DLC. Just a peculiar NPC with interesting dialogue.

Ok. I just found a video on youtube where the guide says the same thing, he isnt important. I need to be more careful!! Took 3 hits from my hollowslayer sword to kill him!
