Bleed valid in PVE?
Title says it all, thanks.

The time it will take for the bleed to proc will make it inferior to a build focused on dishing out pure damage. Bleed builds can be occasionally good for certain bosses, but that's it. On others, like Dragonslayer armor though....

In short - bleed sucks for both PvE and PvP and the only reason to use it is if you enjoy the playstyle. (But even then frostbite is better)

It is, however, the only worthwhile bleed weapon for both PvP and PvE is the Warden Twinblades. Or you can go magic and use Dorhy's Gnawing miracle.

Look at the bleed buildup Dorhy's Gnawing does on this build:

This is another bleed build, but without spells:

It can be, for certain enemies. Most of the time it's not: you'll deal more damage with other infusions and the bleed won't make any difference to how many hits it takes to kill the majority of enemies. Some enemies, however are very susceptible. Sulyvahn's beats, the Monstrosities of sin, the Dancer, the Demon Prince and Sister Friede are all bleedable. The Demon prince in particular, as he has about 50% damage reduction to all types of damage but because bleed bypasses any armour (so does Pestillent mist) it will deal a big chunk of damage to him.

Bleed is fine against the majority of enemies. Unfortunately hollow infusions and carthus rouge were nerfed a while back, effectively crippling luck builds
