Need a Quality faith pve build

So, i'm coming near Lothric castle and I know that I can find the Dragonslayer spear and the sunlight straight sword. I want to use those weapons since I like their movesets, but I currently have a quality build 40/40 and I'm currently thinking about making it faith too, mainly to buff my weapons or to throw some spells.

If anyone knows a build for the Dragonslayer spear and the sunlight straight sword that involves faith and Str/Dex (I prefer to have both but I could keep one if it is more effective) could you give the link or describe the whole build ?

So for more details i would like to use the lightning SPEAR and I do not know anything about miracle so if you have a spell in the build describe what it does (if it's a buff or a damging spell)

Also if you wonder wy i ask such a build, it's because i'm trying to kill Lothric and Lorian and i'm struggling a lot ^^

I was using a build like that 1 years ago. Use ring of thief, lightning clutch, pontifs eye ring, ring of sun's first born. You need these spels:

Ligjtning sword
Lightning spear (Try to use the best lightning spear)
Tears of denial(optional)
Secret oath (optional)
U cant use secret oath and tears of denial at the same time

You need dex and 4/1 str also you can use Astora straith sword untill you get sunlight straith sword.

Or u can use a bleeding katana with lightning sword untill get sunlight straith sword and i dont advice dragonslayer spear because it isn't powerfull as sunlight straith sword

Do you wanna use the Dragonslayer Swordspear or the Dragonslayer spear?

The Sunlight Straightsword profits most from FTH, and equally from STR and DEX, so 40 FTH for the softcap might be recommended. The Dragonslayer spear profits from DEX the most, same for the Dragonslayer Swordspear.

According to the fextralife wiki, the Dragonslayer Swordspear softcaps at 28 STR, 40 DEX and 28 FTH. There's no more detailed data about Softcaps on the Dragonslayer spear. Sunlight Straightsword softcaps at 40 STR / DEX / FTH.

So for Sunlight Straightsword and Dragonslayer Spear you might wanna aim at something like 20 STR, 40 DEX and 40 FTH at minumum and if possible at some point 40 STR as well, depending whether you wanna stay at 120 - 125 and PvP or not.

It's viable for both pve and pvp


In pvp anyway you should aim to combo a charged 1 handed dragonslayer spear r2 into an r1 from the sunlight ss. I reccomend you use tears of denial right from the get go since you won't have much defence. this build will make you into a dodge roll god though.

I don't think there's any particular build that hard counters this one either so yay.

On a counter hit with the leo ring bonus taken into account

That's 668 ar *approx you're gonna hit them with. This is with the dragon roar buff from the torso dragon stone. Yeah it's a dragon form build XD.

in pvp the Oath of sunlight buff from your sunlight ss is gonna be pretty much useless (only 3% to damage dealth and -3% to damage taken) But in PVE that means you're gonna do some more good damage /defence.

Anyway I hope you try it out.

If you're not gonna use any miracles, pump all the stats from ATT into VIG. Optimal Class for the build by Miromett would be: Cleric :)

can you explain me why build are always made around SL 120 or 125, does a high SL has negative affects ?

sl 120-125 is the max lvl you want to go if you intend to PvP or Co-op. After that good luck finding summons to help you without a password.

just get faith to 60 and adjust str +dex so it fits ur weapon of choice

Not really, playing solo is fun too, but if you want to try multiplayer I would suggest not going over sl 125.

I think I'm gonna adopt it, but I just wanted to ask what I should use to replace the sacred Chime of Filianore and what's the difference between Talisman and Sacred Chime ? (Also if you think something is missing it would be gentle to tell me :) )

I think I'm gonna adopt it, but I just wanted to ask what I should use to replace the sacred Chime of Filianore and what's the difference between Talisman and Sacred Chime ? (Also if you think something is missing it would be gentle to tell me :) )

WA for talisman gives you the perserverence buff while spellcasting.

Chime WA lets you regen 2-4 hp per second as long as it is active in your hand.

Sacred chime of Filianore extends the regen buff to players as well as yourself.

Best pure fth:

Chime- Yorshka's Chime.
Talisman- Saint's Talisman.
