Ravenous crystal lizard.
Is it possible to parry and / or sheild from its attacks? Or do i have to keep dodging?

Just dodge his attacks and hit him a lot, his start ups aren't hard to recognize. Hit him enough and you'll be repost him when he recoils. You can also circle around some of his attacks, ds3's hit boxes are forgiving in this way.
