Unable to connect to server, FDP_System_Message(401208)
I'm receiving this error everytime i try to log in DarkSouls III server and can only play offline.

How to fix this?

I already did the port forwarding, already allow the game on windows firewall, and even turn off both firewall, from router and windows and i still get this error. I had already re-installed the game once and have the same erros and now i'm re-installing again.

The problem happens for one day to another, i could play online yesterday, but today i got this error.

Does anyone can help me to fix this error?

Hey man, if you have this issue it's probably because you played Cinders mod. All you have to do is go into your game directory, and there will be a ini. file called 'modengine.ini'

Open the file in a text pad, shearch for blockNetworkAccess=1 and turn the 1 into a 0
and online play should be enabled again !

In case someone need help go to (Steam \ steamapps \ common \ DARK SOULS III \ Game)
then delete this file ( dinput8.dll) after deleting it go to steam and verify the game files ( right click on dark souls in steam -> properties -> local files and verify ).

i did that but file verification doesn't put dinput8.dll back, so i'm reinstalling

that file was blocking the connection in first place if you used mods. if you didn't then sorry I have no idea what's wrong.
