Unless you have the actual save file, from the hard drive in the old PC, then its lost forever.
This is why i keep a 3TB backup drive of anything precious to me that ive collected over the years. And then a smaller 1TB backup drive just incase the other one fails or is destroyed. Ive still managed to hold onto files from Windows95.
So lesson learned? Backup your data periodically.
And not all games have Cloud support.
the save file is DS30000.sl2 If you locate it you can copy it and save it for later or if you want to go back to an old save.
