Also, if you visit the velka statue you can also do something similar to purging stones, I think it just costs a bit more.
In one version you marry her in a nice ceremony. In the other you help her defeat her enemy but you are forced to let her go.
Should have no downsides (I did this in Bloodborne).
Did anyone try this? The game is way too long and sometimes tedious (like Cathedral of the Deep and Farron Keep) to be very enjoyable & motivating for another run...
However if you kill the Pilgrim I would only be able to do 2 endings , but not Usurp the Fire ending. Not sure which way to go with 1st run.
I wish they didn't conflict npc stories and endings like that. Or at least made it worth it to go one way. Like a proper good ending for Anri and you.
Other problem is the damn Dark Sigil that costs a ton to remove...
I wish they let you at least do the Aldrich storyline finish with Anri, then make Yuria story unfolds without conflicting one another. Or at least make Anri survive so it's worth it.
Btw is it ok to backup and reload saves to see several endings? No banning or anything right?
(Basically a save backup)
If you don't care for the achievements, look up the endings on YouTube. I don't recall anyone getting banned for reloading backups for the endings, in case you still want to do that.
Also killing her gets an NPC to invade you in two areas. If you kill it twice and then I believe go back to where Yuria was you'll get its set. You get the claws it uses after first killing it.
I normally kill Yuria the second I get the gesture from her and the Paleshade, the NPC that invades you.
