Just use gotthard onehanded, lol. What's the issue? Plus you got access to a very good chase down running attack, the rolling attack is still good aswell. And an unparriable weapon art.

Gotthard's are the longest, then ringed knight/lothric holy, then dark/irithyll sword, then lothric knight.

Most likely Gotthards.

What about the Ringed Knight SS? It's been a while, I don't quite use it often enough to remember its normal range. Its weapon art is very rangeful, but I'm not sure without it

You can still one hand them, you just don't get the typical WA set up and moveset for a longsword.

Actually, the weapon art is parryable but its really difficult.
Best straight sword is longsword imo fit in all builds

It's not. The L2 is unparriable, the followup R2 is.

Nah, far from poor. Lower, but definitely high enough.

Be aware that for some ungodly reason, the ringed knight weapon art has enough poise to tank curved greatswords. So wear heavy armor while using the sword to make the most of the poise.

Thanks all of you but i change my mind,i'll remain with the anri sword.
I have to decide just wich buff its better for 25/30 faith and the white hair talisman.
I have a very specific build in mind,i can't change any stats,i can just leave 5 points from vigor or stamina and add to faith to reach 30,nothing more.
But wich buff its the best at 25/30 faith and white hair talisman? Dark blade, darkmoon blade, lightning blade or blessed weapon?
I won't use the carthus rouge.

Ignore what these memers are saying, use the Lothric knight sword. all r1's are slashing, all r2's are stabbing. You know that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ r2 followup a longsword has, and I'm pretty sure ghottards has? Lothric knight does not have this feature. Both one and 2 handed r2's are always stabs. Fun fact, lothric knight SS r2's have enough stagger on them you can get a free second hit with another r2, like you can with the r1.
It's an R2-R2 true combo and that's cool as ♥♥♥♥.
