How long can you be penalized?
i accidentally went online with a cheated character and i rightfully got penalized for it, but how long does it last for? Just getting excited to play online is all

That's a great question, and it depends. It depends on the message that came up when you got penalized. if you delete your save file for that character and a couple other things (don't remember offhand), then you should be fine.

I think it lasts a couple of days, if that? I did the same thing and got a "warning" message. If it was a soft ban though, shouldn't be TOO long.

it is permanent now, there are 2 ways of playing online again, family share your game or contact bandai EU and ask to lift you ban (one time lift)

no, this delete your save file doesn't work anymore, some time ago penalization are permanent. it only works when you recieve the "warning" message, if you got penalized, it is too late.

Oh, I didn't realize my bad. That's why I asked about the message that actually came up, I was hoping by "penalize" it meant "warning". Yeah, at that point its a perm ban, Finn's got it right

1month after that u can got unbanned if this is your first time

Uh, actually that happens a ton. A LOT of people who post builds don't test said builds the "regular" way. They create cheat characters offline, and play on those builds. Fant made a mistake and went online instead of staying offline. It's not the first time something similar has happen ed.

Won't be the last either.
