Pyromancy vs Miracles

Hi! Just like in topic, what is overall better in pvp pyro or miracle caster ?

Honestly... it depends on the person. As a caster I better with mage than pyro or cleric. Other people will say pyromancy is better than miracles but it really depends the the user. I'd say try both.

both of them excel in pve, as far as pvp is concerned i would choose pyromancies because 1) they offer wider variety of viable spells you can use, 2) you can achieve viable pyro build pretty early while you will lay your hands on crucial offensive miracles only late in the game, in addition 3) offensive miracles require high stat investments, 4) it is much easier to free aim with pyros, 5) if you level both int and faith for a pyro build you can use many miracles while other way round it does not work so well... but it is just my opinion...

They are kind of connected both. But pyromancer to me is stronger. Both can be achieved but at the end you will likely stick with pyroancy exclusively. Not expert opinion, I played pyro 1 and 2 entirely, here I think is the same

Both can actually be quite good if you know how to use them:

Pyromancies

• Pyromancies generally cast faster than Miracles at 50 Dexterity
  
• Pyromancies are more DPS oriented than Miracles
  
• Pyromancies has access to Chaos Bed Vestiges , one of the hardest hitting and FP efficient spells in the entire game. Black Flame hits so fast most people can't dodge it and deals a good chunk of damage. Sacred Flame hits past shields for major damage to punish passive players. Fire Surge is great for picking off weakened players and is hard to punish
  
• Has access to a bigger selection of viable weapons

Miracles

• Has access to some very nice heals and some of the best buffs in the entire game
  
• Has the luxury of poise casting, something that no other school of magic has
  
• Sunlight Spear at point blank is basically like Chaos Bed Vestiges: it can hit for over 1K+ damage. Lightning Arrow is arguably the best offensive spell in the entire game. It can be held indefinitely and can be used to roll catch people. Lightning Storm is the best AOE in the entire game with an effective range of up to 15 ft. and deals around 700 damage. Lightning Stake at point blank usually deals a consistent 700 damage and can be spammed against UGS users to win trades. Great Heal is Godsend for invasions and can be used to conserve Estus.

In PVP pyro is better. Wear it in left hand and short sword in right. Requires a lot of skill. But is OP

You can wear in right too if you are adept enough. Left shield. requires high strength. Brutal.

Due to Rosaria's 5 I cant experiment but conceptually is right since I played 1 and 2

Is one of the highest skill requirement, usually in this game spam short sword is easier, that is why keep lothric short sword in right quick predicament quick punishment.

Pyromancy all the way. Gunpowder, incinerate to cinder, let the coroner examine the remains.

Let them feel your ruff. The more you fire the more dangerous. Feed them Nitro

For PVP I would go pyro, for PVE and co-op miracles are good but in PVP they are trash. Just my 2 cents. Most miracles are defensive and most pyro are offensive. Just depends on the way you wanna play that build out.
