Help with my faith build
I’ve been trying out a lot of builds just to see how PvE and PvP change with them and I’ve been trying to make a pure faith/60 faith build. I’m having a lot more trouble making this one then I am with others. My stats are: 30 vig, 30 attunement, 25 end, 7 vit, 24 stg, 18 dex, 7 int, 60 faith, 13 luck,

My rings are: mornes ring, ring of the suns first born, sage ring, and prisoners chain.

Do you guys think this build will work for both pvp and pve and if not what can I change that you think will help. (The 24 stg and 18 dex are so I can use LKGS and LKS if need be, do you think it’s worth it).

Edit: I ended up trying to go in the middle of what people have told me my current build is 35 vig, 30 att, 25 end, 8 vit, 18 stg, 18 dex, 7 int, 60 faith, 13 luck
This way I can use Astora Greatsword, Dragonslayer Axe and Lothric knight sword. I feel this gives me a good balance of weapons with a good amount of stats where I want them.

Try 60 fth then meet the bare minimum required to wield the dragonslayer's axe. Then slap a lightning infusion on it. Then of course get any shield that can parry and a matching dagger. My friends character does this and they balanced their points into attunment and vitality that way he can wear the Faraam armor and get very decent stats without the need of a steel protection ring. His spells are Sunlight Spear, Lightning Arrow, and his choice of either a heal spell or lightning stake. Also having both miracle rings equipped will also stack with eachother and the rose of ariandel.

Is it better to have a raw dragon slayers axe then buff it with lighting blade or lighting infuse.

And I can then strip that buff off with a duel charm. If your character relies on using a buff to inflict your damage then in PvP you'll find out against a competent host or invader that they will slap you around after they remove your buffs.

Then that's why they carry around a lightning infused weapon. Besides, it is extremely rare that I ever see someone use a duel charm, so it's not like he'll be debuffed every single fight he gets into. But yes, if he does go for raw buffed dragonslayers axe then something like a lightning long sword is a must, either for PvE or for when his buff runs out.

That also works too, i'm just lazy too apply buffs or I forget to do it again after it wears off. Also it's true you do not run into people who use duel charms very often, but you should always prepare for that. I am also a said player who uses Duel Charms a lot as it certainly helps at countering those +40 fth/int builds that lack any str/dex and buff all their attacks.

if you dont plan on one handing the LKGS than you might consider going lower in the str department. Also consider infusing your backup weapons with blessed instead of lightning if they already do lightning dmg like the dragonslayer axe and the LKGS do.

Yeah I was wondering if it would be worth it to use the LKGS or not because I heard it was pretty good with lighting infusion

The great advice I’m getting from everyone should be more then enough, I just wish there were better weapon option for a 60faith build
This is the build I use, with a lot of success in PVP (both arena and invasions). Change it up if there's something you don't like. The normal Longsword is a fantastic choice and hits pretty hard, while only requiring only two stats investment. This allows you to pour in those stat points into something that's going to help you a bit more.

You can always go with Dragonslayer Axe, but it's pretty slow and requires more stat points. You can also consider the Lothric Warbanner, as it's also pretty good and buffs your all damage by an additional 15%. At 60 Faith, the normal Talisman is better than the Canvas Talisman. They both have the same exact poise, but the normal Talisman has a higher spell buff.

well the point is when you dont one hand the weapon than 16 str is enough to wield it in 2 hands and you could use those 8 saved points somewhere else. Also iam certain that a blessed LKGS does more damage than a lightning LKGS.

Here are some that work rather well with faith.

- Lothric Straight Sword Blessed/Lightning infusion.
- Sunlight Straight Sword Lightning buff.
- Dragonslayer's Axe Blessed/Lightning infusion.
- Astora Greatsword Blessed/Lightning infusion or Blessed/Lightning buff.
