Edit: DS3 is fashion souls
Farm the knights outside the Dancers Fog Door for their sword and shield. Also they give embers on a regular basis. The shield is one of the best for it's weight in the game. The sword is light and leveled can do decent damage.
Then on other instances she'll be hyper and her jumping attack one after another.
I'm not sure what makes this boss like that. She is a terrible boss, but not because she does a ton of damage.
Her moves are telegraphed and usually easy enough to dodge, except for her grab which has the weirdest hit box I've seen since DS2 Velstadt.
Also never been able to get to her butt. You're always looking at her side, because her body is very long and nimble, and constantly curves. Her body seems to actively reposition itself if you try to get behind her.
Hitting her face, however, is much easier, but that leaves you open to her grab. If you can manage to dodge it, hitting her face does a LOT of damage.
I've long sinced tried to understand her. I gave up, lol. I know her moveset though, and that's generally enough to beat her. I wish I could say I've stopped thinking about it, but I find her more annoying than innately difficult.
Also Dorhy's Gnawing will WRECK her.
If you want I can drop X amount of souls for you and drop you some adequate armor sets. I can either drop you a very large amount of souls, or just enough for a couple of levels if you don't want to over level on your first run through the game.
When you say 36 levels in health you mean your Vigor is at 36? If so that is pretty good. Make sure you are using dark and not some other element by mistake. It should be adding more than 40 damage.
