Claymore or Deep Battle Axe

Which one is stronger in general? For PVE and a strength build. I heard both are really good and i like both. Which one is a better choice to level up?

Claymore. Though might want to stick with deep axe for vordt, as it does a lot of dark damage which he is weak to.

May i add: Is Claymore even a good greatsword?

Purely from stats others seem better

Deep Infusions essentially act like the Raw Infusion but with Dark damage. So Deep Battle Axe will generally perform the same no matter what build you are on. Go with the Claymore as the Deep Battle Axe acts like the Drake Sword from DS1, but there are generally better weapons for a Strength build later on like the Great Club or Guts Cosplay Swo- I mean Greatsword

for str build honeslty i recomended to farm great axe from hollow close high wall lothric bonefire this is the weapon which im using everytime in any str build cuz it can take you from begining to final boss even demon prince was easy everytime with this axe

im not to good wiht using small axes i tried dragon slayer axe in low level invasion it is just not for me i prefer giant damage for giant weapon

also it is great if not one of the best early weapons but it is pain in ass when you trying to get it by farming cuz it takes almost the same amount of time as farming concords ALMOST

I am most likely going to use the same items in "Fightin cowboy's" video since i am new to the game. He uses a strength build so but i guess too, but i will put mine a little bit more distributed.

Greataxe is not a small axe, its like Yhorm's weapon
