I NEED SOME LORE EXPLANATION ON ALDRICH

I' Dont know ♥♥♥♥ about the story of this game but i have a question in my mind...
WTF IS WRONG WITH ALDRICH, she is what ? a slug girl ? it looks like one of those worm before the rosaria's room, is it the giant version of those things ? if there is no explanation, the design of this boss is just desgusting

That "girl" is a trap god named Gwyndolin that is being eaten.

Aldrich is the sludge. The "human" that you're seeing is Gwyndolin. Gwyndolin is Lord Gwyns SON.

Aldrich is the devourer of Gods, before you enter the fog gate LISTEN. You hear that noise? That's Aldrich eating Gwyndolin. The Pontiff (Sulyvhan) locked up Aldrich long ago with Gwyndolin in that room (the same room where you fought Dragonslayer Ornstein and Smough in DS1).

Aldrich was a cleric who grew fond of eating humans. When he was thinking of the First Flame he had visions of a coming age of water, a deep sea. The Cathedral of the Deep was founded to serve Aldrich which provided a lot of sacrifices to him and was overseen by the Pontiff and Royce.

When Aldrich was revided as a Lord of Cinder he started dreaming and wanted to eat the gods. That's why he takes on their powers (like Gwyndolin). Gwyndolin sacrificed himself to save his sister which you can meet by walking on the invisible bridge in Anor Londo. Her name is Yorshka (who is very similar to crossbreed Priscilla btw). She's now imprisoned.

Theres also speculation that a lot of Aldrich faithful are like him in their gluttony. Especially Archdeacon McDonnell who is at the bottom of that ladder behind the illusory wall in Anor Londo. He appears dead, he's just really fat. He is the guy that allows you to become an Aldrich Faithful and their enemy would be Company Captain Yorshkas side, the Blade of The Darkmoon.

Also note, the place where you fought the Deacons of the Deep, that's Aldrichs coffin. Obviously, he isn't in it when you defeat them but you are granted the peculiar doll which permits you to enter Irithyll before Anor Londo.

Gwyndolin is basically being used as a meat-puppet for lack of a better term. Aldrich is controlling him. Again, this is why he has his powers. Aldrich can learn the gods powers by dreaming of them.

"Aldrich dreamt as he slowly devoured the God of the Darkmoon. In this dream, he perceived the form of a young, pale girl in hiding "- Lifehunt Scythe Miracle".

Notice he uses a Scythe very much like Crossbreed Priscillas.
