Rose of Ariandel Is It good?
So hey fellas just like the title says Is this weapon good? Im trying to lean towards the faith side a little bit and was wondering if the rose of ariandel is stronger then any of the other catalysts.

I want this item soo much i will give my body who has give to me :=) really worth it for str/int lighting build like Sunlight Spear or DragonSlayer Greataxe.

It has the highest spell buff at low Faith (like up to 40 or something around that) but it isn't worth it as an actual casting tool at high Faith. Its buff carries over to other casting tools though.

I use it solely for the buff. Lightning spells get amped up real quick when you stack.

Rose cannot be parried, but no poise when two handed. It is inferior to Canvas Talisman at 60 faith. If you try to use it in arena you are begging for a backstab or CSS in the face.

As mentioned above, it is only good for the buff which makes it useful for PvE. Other than that...

So, compared to Friede's Scythes, I'd say it's not as good. Also, it's not really viable in multiplayer (then again when is a miracle build ever aaaaaaaaaa), as you are stuck having to do the animation, which is really long.

Jokes on you, miracle builds are really good solely because of the existance of regeneration spells (and the Lightning infusion, while being a more resisted element both in terms of average defense and shield block values, is still VERY viable) and Friede's Scythe is just bad. Don't get me wrong, the flail is, too, but it at least has SOME niche use due to its quite significant spell damage buff. And well, Friede's just doesn't have any.
