parryable but if it does end up as a counter hit the guy you're fighting can say goodbye to 600~
hp. Crossbows are good but a leo ring counter hit is even better.
Dark is good but only for chip. Doesn't do more damage overall. You have knight's crossbow with
lightning arrow and exploding bolts for chip damage instead as well.
Sharp crits are on par with dark crits and if you do decide to add in hornet ring sharp > dark.
while dark infusion might not be better than sharp. The stat spread for a dark build does have
options that a dex build won't i.e - easy access to Tears of Denial and replenishment / fillainore's
chime all 3 of which are great utility options. Also chaos dagger
(but don't tell anyone you picked that up =3=)
Ultimately i'd say you have more options with a dark build but it probably won't be much better
than a sharp dex build.
*I forgot to mention anyone can cuck a dark build if they know you're running one with a
black bug pellet. No such counter with a pure phys weapon. Blocking isn't a big deal for
straightswords either since they can't attack you while they're blocking.
Even an estoc / bks turtle can't do much if you land an r1 before they can shield poke you.
