Steam removes DSIII Deluxe Edition from my library due to error pocessing payment?

I got this message recently saying DSIII Deluxe Edition was removed from my games library due to something along the lines of "an error processing payment". This makes no sense because:

1. I never bought the deluxe edition, I bought the original edition + the season pass.
2. I paid for this ages ago and had 200 hours clocked in DSIII already.

What the hell happened? I might call Steam customer support about this if I don't find another answer.

Setup a support ticket with steam support, also take a screen shot of your transaction history on your steam account. Hopefully the DS3 purchase is still there on the list.

I purchased the Delux Edition through back in 2016, my game was removed compeltely, the base game AND all DLC.

If you've bought the game through Steam or an authorised reseller and not from an unauthorised 3rd party website, hitting up the Steam support would be your best bet.

Are you positive that this was the account you purchased the game on?

I can see my transaction history from the very first game i bought on steam.

The only game that doesnt show on my list is Dead Island because when i bought the game new (physical disc) the CD key had already been used, after filing a support ticket with steam and proving i bought the game new, the game was added to my account.

Yeah I checked my transaction history and it's not there, assumedly because they removed it from my library. They don't show my hours on the game anymore either and I had 200 hours on it.

Same here. I bought mine through Steam, but it says it was activated via key though I didn't even know of buying keys at that time (2016).

Steam wont help me, told my to contact my 3rd party and they are in the process of helping.

"I was able to take a look into your account and it appears your CD Key for Dark Souls III has been revoked by the game publisher. The publisher has revoked this key which they are able to do if they find any record of this code being stolen and sold to users without direct consent from them."

So it took them two years to decide the key I paid for was stolen or sold without consent when others also bought this game legally through steam even and had their revoked.... Something is admist.

if it was the later its possible that many keys from them have been revoked not just yours, as those kinds of sites buy large amounts of keys with stolen credit cards sometimes, and when the charge backs finally go through the keys can be canceled.

I have bought some games from those sites in the past but I checked my purchase history on those sites and I do not see DSIII. I am very sure I did not buy it from any of those websites anyway. I am sending a support ticket.
