What is considered as a "tryhard weapon" exactly?

you two can't be serious
Pretty serious. I see someone with the rkpgs I instantly think, "Wow. This dude really, really, REALLY wants to win". Definition of a tryhard imo.
rkpgs is more like ”Wow. This dude really, really, REALLY wants to lose”. It’s literally a backstab mine and if you dont go for backstabs then just outspace it cause it’s slow as ♥♥♥♥
Washing Pole, any dagger are tryhard weapons. Real men use greatswords, though not the RKPGS because as someone said, they're ♥♥♥♥.

Washing pole, yes if they’re good at it. Daggers, only murky hand scythe and harpe. Rkpgs is useless

Thanks for the tutorial smh.

Truthfully, I don't think there are any tryhard weapons. Only tryhard players that think a weapon can make up for their lack of skill.

Murky hand scythe and harpe

Like the farron greatsword
Not even close.

The most try hard weapon today is the pontiff knight curved sword (pkcs). You only need 26/40 str/dex to get the most out of it, seems to be the fastest of the curved swords, and the damage is pretty decent.

However, it's not a crutch. If you, as a noob, try to use it in PvP, you'll probably be destroyed as much as you would with any other weapon. I recommend learning how to use basic weapons and techniques first, like any weapon you find enjoyable and proper spacing.

EDIT: oh yeah, the pkcs and the murky hand scythe are tied imo.

Maybe my definition of tryhard is wrong. You all seem to be talking about good players that use meta weapons as tryhards. When I think of a tryhard it's someone who sucks at the game and is trying everything in their power to be gud. Like using weapons with super-high ar or un-poise-breakable weapon arts. Dagger as a tryhard weapon? I must have missed that memo.

You see new players think that farron greatswod and rkpgs are op because they don't know how to space and attack it + they deal lots of damage.

I don´t like the term "tryhard". "Tryhards" use weapons that make it much easier to win, I´d prefer if they were called "trysofts". Using a broken Broken SS; now that would be someone *trying hard* to win.

I see the weapon and I think that the person is trying hard to be good. I see the door shields I think the same thing. It's like someone wearing shades in the grocery store. They are trying hard to be cool when they really aren't. I'm not meme-ing, I just think my definition of tryhard might be wrong. I think try tryhard means you're trying hard, but still suck. I'm not saying the weapons are good or can't be countered. I'm saying the person using them thinks the weapon makes them better. If tryhards are actually good players using meta weapons like daggers and ss's or curved swords them I am clueless on melinnial definitions.

no
Tryhards are literally just people who do their best in order to win and prepare accordingly. It's both good and bad players.

melinnial definitions.
lol WHAT, do you maybe mean "millennials"?
It does have a bad touch though, it's usually used when people try TOO hard
