Blessed shield.. worth a slab?
So I tried a blessed shield...it's funny, I don't think I've pulled my shield off my back once in PVE on this guy in NG or NG+, but it's an odd secrity blanket, it just feels off not having one equipped. So, it mostly hangs out on my back. Thought I would get some use out of it by going with a blessed infusion and.. I don't notice anything, really. Took it up to +9. I assume there's no big jump in the affect between +9 and +10.. am I right, or is it actually worth a slab?

I wouldn't. Why not use the ethereal oak shield?

A good idea, and I tried to make it work but it's too heavy :P And I think it would even look decent on this guy who uses the faraam set.

Wouldn't matter much on this guy since I dont even parry with him, but shields with the skill that you use your weapon's WA ALWAYS get me killed... If I have my shield in my hand it's usually to parry, so I instinctually go to parry and end up getting nailed.

You could always use the grass crest shield. Ethereal oak and a blessed shield are pretty slow when it comes to healing. If you ever need health you could always pull out one of those shields, Anri's SS, sun princess ring and blessed weapon. Anri's SS heals over time and can be buffed further by blessed.

I'd rarely upgrade a shield to +10/+5. Only time I'd do it would be for a greatshield or the black knight shield.
