Have you been banned when using Souls Unsqueezed ?

Souls Unsqueezed is a way to make the fame run on a 21:9 Aspect Ratio.
After I send a reclamation e-mail, I've been told to remove the external files in order to be unbanned, after some period.

I don't use SU but I've heard there's a certain version that can cause bans.

in that other thread I told you to not use the latest version of SUS. did you read my post?
version 0.6.0 gets you banned. version 0.4.0 is 100% safe. I don't know about the version in the middle.

Can't remind this advice, but still, can you give me a link to the 0.4.0 version ?
Also, removing the current version from the game entirely consists in only deleting the files I've copied into the game folder ?
Is it for the best to reinstall the game then add the 0.4.0 version ?

if you aren't 100% sure of which files are of souls unsqueezed, yeah. but you could just download it again (if you didn't save it) and see which they were.

btw if your game says "penalized", it's too late, you're banned, and now it seems that bans last forever.

recently at least four people have been unbanned after contacting bandai namco here: https://service-en.bandainamcoent.eu/app/ask/p/6893
tell them that you didn't know that mods were forbidden and that you're sorry. you have to give them the link to your profile, too.
if you want to be 100% sure, too, you should restore a backup from before installing SUS, if you have one. otherwise, put your save somewhere else (or rename it) and create a new one with a new character, until you get unbanned.

I did indeed send an e-mail regarding my ban problem. After several e-mails, they said that I have to remove the external files (Souls Unsqueezed ones) and wait for my ban to be automatically removed.

Now let's wait and see. Although I don't have my hopes up, it still may be a chance.

it's a shame. you should have waited for more people to reply to your other thread instead of going with what the 1st person told you. can't be careful enough when bans are permanent.

well instead of using soul squeezer use a proper solution which I use and I have not banned

Not something I would risk. I've seen mixed reports of people saying they've been banned from using mods like this, it's definitely not worth risking a permaban for

I thought before, they were like 2 week bans or so.

Also, cant you still step around the ban with family sharing?

It changed somewhere along the way, so bans are now permanent. I actually think it started around December, since that's when the last patch was (I could be wrong)

And as for family sharing, yes. It's what a lot of cheaters use as throwaway accounts.
