Fume ultra great sword is so bad

literally the greatsword it's better in any aspects, lower weight, more damage, more scaling. Why you should use the fume ultra great sword ?

Fume Sword is much better for show off purposes.
If you expect that more impressive looking weapon has to be better in this game you are wrong.
Fume sword has alot of flaws but overally it is at least as good as greatsword. Just it is not as impressive as tu expect for much harder to get weapon.


Final conclusion: This game is not MMORPG where harder to get/ more rare weapon has to be proportionally stronger.

for me the best UGS is Profaned Greatsword

It does more damage than the greatsword, it has a better moveset and the special adds fire damage

With blessed it has an A in faith, not bad on weapons with lightning.

Or get 60 faith and infuse it with blessed.

Infuse it with dark on a 30 int/ 30 faith build.

The profaned greatsword does more damage than the greatsword?

Greatsword dark infusion 30 30 / 20 str has 742 split AR. 271 phys 471 dark.

For reference the Exile Greatsword has 264 + 467 with these same stats 2handed

It easily does over 370 per swing to someone.

Astora GS is a little weaker but still comparable (however it's got a basic horizontal swing) and with a r2 poke is capable of dishing out a hell lot of counter damage if you've infused sharp.

Profaned GS has 670 AR (it's firebuff adds around 30 flat damage when you hit someone) at 60/60

At a more reasonable 40/40 it's got 628 AR.

The sharp astora has 608 AR at 70 dex and 16 str.

The profaned greatsword is a good one but it doesn't have anything to really bring it above the pack with the other 5 UGS.


Lothric knight UGS

This thing you 100% want to lightning buff but you're screwed the moment someone throws a duel charm at you because you won't have another chance to reapply it. Not to mention it's got the same moveset as the profaned greatsword but without even a simple selfbuff.
