DARK SOULS™ III

DARK SOULS™ III

Does Dark Souls 3 still have a lot of players online?
I just wonder if it's worth to buy it in the half of 2018 and if it's worth to buy the Deluxe Edition for this price (almost 2x of game price), or nah. Let me know

yes it has 2 as meny as the remaster that just cam out more then ever
Yeah indeed. The online activity in DS: Remastered is a bit low. And DSIII is more active again.
Um, so what about these DLCs, are they worth their money?
It's still very active, I believe I saw someone say it still had around 10,000 concurrent players. But if you're going to buy the game, I would get the Deluxe Edition. Steam has it for $25, but you may want to look on other sites as well, to see if you can snag it even cheaper.

The DLCs are absolutely worth it. They bring a lot of meta weapon to the table and the bosses are some of the toughest in the game.

dlcs are really awesome. loving the ringed city especially.. stil couldnt best that beast!!! - if you like flipping with an ultra great sword lol
What Firebug sayed. The Ringed City improves the overall vibe of Dark Souls III. DSIII really needed The Ringed City. And I like Ashes of Ariandel too. The main boss of Ashes is pretty good and fun.

You mean Midir? If so It's my fav. boss of the game. If you mean Gael (on NG+5 or after, I can understand the frustration). Gael is the most annoying one of all for me. Even the cheap tactic he breaks through at my encounters.

But if you're going to buy the Deluxe Edtion, I definitely wouldn't buy it from Steam, it's extremely expensive. Buying from a 3rd party site will be a lot cheaper. It's $55 on Steam right now with the sale, but both CDKeys and InstantGaming have it for $30. I actually wouldn't reccomend getting the game without the DLC, you're missing out on so many weapons, bosses, and storyline.

What are you talking about? Its 20 bucks right now for the game and all expansions.

Ringed city is much better than ariendel.

True but Ariendel is not bad in my opinion. I never hear people cry about Painted World of Ariamis in DS1 and that was even shorter. Maybe because it was included in the main game but whatever.
is the DLC part of the game during the play through or is the DLC a part of the game AFTER you beat standard Darksouls 3?
DS1 - 3.1K DS2 - 2.4K DS3 - 10K

Both DLC area's (for your first run through) are populated with level 80 enemies.

Canonically, Andarial happens in another world (like some sort of metaphysical inception).. and Ring City occurs far into the distant future, after the events of the Dark Souls main game, but before the events of the final boss fight.

/edit

You can gain access to the Andarial DLC, after defeating at least 3 bosses and reaching the cathedral.

Likewise, you can gain access to Ring City DLC after defeating all story bosses and entering area of the final boss fight. Or alternatively, you can enter Ring City DLC after completing Andarial DLC.

Wasn't paying attention, I skimmed to the bottom and took a quick glance at the "add all DLC to cart" button and saw that it was $55. I actually didn't see that the Deluxe Edition was $25.49, a careless mistake. But regardless, if the OP can find it even cheaper somewhere else, he definitely should. Although, I don't think there would be any site at a lower price point.

Even if the online presence is low, I would still consider the game worth it. I'm not into PVP so I don't really care about how many people are online, I've yet to do anything with covenant rewards, and I can still co-op with a friend.
