Sirrus' sign not showing up on Irithyll Bridge

I brought the ashes to shrine maidan and talked to her. She isn't in firelink shrine anymore. Yet her summon sign still does not appear.

Did you join Rosaria's Fingers and give pale tongues to Rosaria?

Did you murder Sirris? I shouldn't have to ask that question, but some idiot asked a few months ago why he couldn't summon an NPC he had killed to help him with a boss, oblivious to the fact that you can't summon someone you've murdered.

Yes i did and yeah i have the tongue and no i havent killed her. Maybe i should just wait a while and see how it plays out.
