Pure INT can be very effective against certain bosses but not very vaible for the whole game, as certain enemies (bosses) are highly resistant against magic. Fun coop build though.
Just do a small google of spells and choose some for fun.. obviously if you get high enough int/faith you can just use them all and swap thenm out as you want ^- ^ ANd there are a lot of ways to get faith/int scaling weps cause ds3.

Here's a link to a very useful reddit user who created a nice little sheet for people to pick from for their wep choice.
google the weps location and there you have it.
Ds3 is very generous with wep choices.
Try doing faith builds in ds1.. its basically just richards rapier lol for a dex+faith build or magic infused katana with 50 faith
Learn to dodge. Seriously your going to have to learn this due to moving from a tank build to a sorcerer will help you out in the long run.
Get Vitality to 20. I did this from the get go helped out a lot.
Work on intelligence to 40. once you get Court Sorcerer/Crystal Sage staff go to 60.
Pick a Straight Sword that has low requirements like the Long Sword then use a Raw Gem on it. Now you got a secondary weapon for most of the game provided you upgrade it.
Learn to DODGE. The reason I am mentioning this again is some bosses you will have to melee due to either high resistance to magic/aggresivness (Ocerious?) or due to wierd aiming mechanics (Curse Rotted Tree), or you were dumb like me and didn't know you could aim for the head on Wolfnir......
You start with Soul Arrow and Heavy Soul Arrow. These will be your bread and butter till you get Great Soul Arrow and Great Heavy Soul Arrow. Reason why is they are FP efficient and fast casting. You need to move a lot stick to SA(GSA), if you got a little more time then use the HSA(GHSA). The Straight sword spell gets mentioned a lot on the net but I never used it, to slow for my taste at that range.
Keep in mind some tactics still translate from melee characters to magic characters, aka staying under Vordt, so as you get more familiar with your Sorcerer you may be able to apply things your learned from your tank.
Here is a link to me fighting the Twin Princes after many attempts with just Dus Crown and sorcerer armor and Court Staff and the Sorcery candle. I mean I am not the greatest DS player by no means but its doable...
