Softban for Randomizer mod?
Hey, I´d like to try out the randomizer mod and play it offline with some friends. Can this be done without getting softbanned?. I´ve never fiddled with any dark souls mods before so I´d like to keep my slate clean.

Thanks for helping me out in advance =)

Play offline and you'll be fine.

I would create an alternate account and family share before installing any mods, just in case.

So if I set Online options to start offline Im fine as long as i install the mod after I did that and deinstall before enabling online again? Also do I need to delete the character or just cheatengine and randomizer? And again thank you very much

You definitely need to uninstall the randomiser from your dark souls directory, and you probably need to delete the charachter, and as long as the cheat engine table isn't currently running and touching dark souls, you'll be fine.

This is definitely a legit reason to use family share imo. That way you're totally safe and can even play it online - at least until the softban kicks in, if it ever does.

Seriously though, all it takes is one slight goof and next thing you know, you're permanently banned
