Ban and Cheat Engine

Few month ago, my computer was send to the reparator.
When I took it back, I have to great displeasure to learn the ALL my DS3 saves where deleted and that I lost all my build.
I have a 220 Level Guy and 320 hours of gaming.

I'm honnestly tired of doing it back all over again. So I'm thinking about cheat engine, just to get back the exact guy I had.

I would like to know of the system works considering Bans. A friend of mine told me that my level had to be coherent with the numbers of hours I passed on the game, so that I was safe to had the exact same build I just lost.

What's your opinion ? Can I safely do tha and go to the arenas ?

Level 220 is literally a 5 minute job if you get somebody to mule Souls for you. Cheat engine is a guaranteed ban, so why use it?

CHeat engine will get you banned, if you pick up souls from someone else, and if even one is cheated you will get banned. Theres also threads on reddit aobut bans that are months old and not being lifted, people are saying softbans are peminate now. Might as well just level up normally

False. Even if an item is cheated in, if it can exist within the game files you wint get banned. There are a few exceptions, but those mostly concern key items. Weapons and normal souls are completely safe. (Just be careful the upgrade lvl and infusions are possible on a weapon.) If you do happen to pick up something that cant exist, youre still safe if you discard it before leaving the game.
Anticheat is a joke in this game. I dont even know how to use CE, yet even i know how to get around the "abticheat".

I would say do not use CE, spawning/swapping items get detected now. if someone drops it for you it is no problem. If you are going to use CE, do know ban times have changed, they last really long now/are permanent.

Its because you spawned upgrade items. Anything droppable is safe.
If you want a weapon upgraded, spawn it in at +5/+10.

No hands on experience, as said before i dont use CE. Its what ive heard from a guy who is very experienced with it.

If you dont believe me thats fine. You can always look on the forums CE users frequent.

You can avoid the whole ban if you just use CE to kill all the enemies in say the Grand Archives, hit the bonfire, rinse and repeat. Game doesn't pick up those souls as cheating and I have always done it when making meta builds without grinding for hundreds of hours.

What do you mean by "somebody to mule souls for you" ?
I would like to get my LVL 220 build back, and go back to online arenas, but honnestly doing all DS3 again and again is boring to me (+ I have a lot of new games to finish).
Can I get souls from somebody without using the CE ?
