How to open midir door?

i passed my whole day exploring this ringed city dlc, and i killed every enemy, get every item and went to every corner. but that door dont have a key. how do i enter it?

i wish i had never opened that door. i feel like that boss is the most cheap boss in the series. he beated sister freide i guess

not at all. hes large and intimidating, but actually one of the easiest bosses in the whole series, and the easiest in this game. just dont go there with a summon and he does hardly any damage, and takes hits from thunder like its going out of style. spam your strongest lightning bolt in his face all day.

Midir can be the easiest once you know where to stay
it's the only boss i can kill without taking a single hit

if you dont go in with summons, he can barely even touch you man. unlike bosses like pontif and aldritch, he dosent stand there spamming r1's for 10 minutes straight. he has very short combos that are easy to dodge, and dont really do much damage. the only dangerous hit he has is his breath, and if youre rocking a miracle build its a joke too. here try this:

equip the sunlight talismann. now when he goes to attack you or do anything, spam your strongest lightning bolt with the weapon art. youll take about half the damage you should have, and respond by picking off about 1/10th of his health.

After fighting Midir 15+ times as a Sunbro he does feel now like the easiest in the series. His moves are very easy to dodge after you learn them.

Not saying he is hard in general, but seriously guys, you wanna tell me you have more of a breeze killing midir than any of these losers on the list?

I mean no boss is hard except for 3 if we really wanna be hardcore about it, but midir takes time, that alone is putting him way above most other bosses
