DS2 is meh at best, but the charm lies through testing a wide variety of builds against them mobs and skipping a lot of areas.
DS3 is very linear and sometimes boring.
On my very first playthrough, I ffound it amazing how pieces of equipment were placed throughout the world to actually help you go through an area. E.g. you start with a weapon that has a broad swing, which is unwieldy in narrow places, you get your ass kicked, then realize that you looted an ugly spear a little earlier that is well more adapted to the enemies ahead.
DS1 was really pushing players to adapt and not rely on just one playstyle, at least thatt's how I experienced it.
Unless you're cheesing enemies with sorcery, in which case you can rely on one playstyle for the whole game.
True, but I never played a sorcerer in DS1, because I found the way sorceries are cast to be damn ridiculous. Also there was only a certain amount of casts for spells and that was a no-go for me.
Dat feel when you're in NG+3 and your 3 attunement slots have WotG tho.
WotG... What have they done to you.....
I want that game so much. I'd even swap the DS1 remaster for a PC Bloodborne port....
The more I keep playing all DS games, the more I prefer Bloodborne over all of 'em. Pvp would be a blast if it was more like in Ds3 though, I admit, but it was the game I enjoyed pvp the most before ds3. And replayability is actually richer than in Ds, you got the dungeons too which may be boring compared, but none the less a whole other world, WITH randomly generated dungeon modes, which is NOWHERE in ds
On Point though, I like Ds3 more than 1 n 2 simply cause it's the most polished in all aspects.
