How do I get out from the fire demon area? (undead settlement)

So I just killed the demon, then went to explore the area, killed everything, found a ring, but I have no idea how can I get out from there. Tried to jump down, but died even with max hp. I have 15k souls with me, and I really don't want to lose that.

Which ring did you get? The Flynn's ring? If so, there's a tower right next to the building where you got that ring. You can drop onto it, then down on the wooden ledges along the inside of the tower. If that's what you did and still died despite doing it right, sounds like you need more Vigor for health, and Dexterity for less fall damage. You could also consider buying the Lloyd's Shield Ring from the Firelink Shrine Handmaiden, for 500 souls. It increases your damage absorption, therefore reducing the damage you take, when you're at full health. I think that could help you survive the fall.

Alternatively, if you get your hands on the Silvercat Ring ( if you properly progress through the quest of an NPC), or get the Spook sorcery ( from a Sorcerer you'll meet in the Farron Swamp), you can equip/cast that and take no damage from any non-lethal fall.

Where you got Flynn's Ring, there is a tower you can reach by jumping down from the rooftops.
In the tower should be the Cloranthy Ring and Mirrah's armour. Once you're at the bottom of the tower, you're near the Curse-rotted Greatwood's

whitout using the homeward bone you can go inside of one of the houses there, go to the roof and jump into a tower that is next to that roof, climb down the tower by jumping down on the right spot and thats it.

I would definitely go the natural way out and jump down to the tower, if for no other reason than to grab the Chloranthy Ring.
