How to survive the lava pools at Demon Ruins ?

I watched a video on youtube

and did exactly what he says there, and I actually died faster than before.

I don't know about the video and I won't watch it.
But I can tell how I deal with the lava:

I use the dragon stone and go in dragon form there. ( Fire resist and fast rolls)
I only equipe estus, no ashen.
Use all items what can increase my fire resist. ( red bug pellets, Flame stoneplate ring, pyromancy Flash Sweet.)
Use rings what can increase my vigor ( LifeRing, Ring of Favor) Ember up to get more hp.

Then I roll and chug estus. Roll....estus....roll...estus....and so on.

Use the great magic shield and walk forward.

I don't know if it's been patched but using havels with shield READIED, seemed to do minimal damage.

Just use a shield and block......yes you can block lava damage. Why? because why not! However last time I did it, only worked one direction so getting there in there is much easier then getting back.
