Black Eye Orb missing?

So, I remember trying to do Leonhard's quest, I got the Orb and I went to invade him, I think I died and didn't try again for some reason
I wanted to do it now, but my Black eye orb seems to be missing, Leonhard is still at Firelink Shrine and Rosaria is alive again

Did you even read what I typed?
I've done all of that, my orb just seems to be missing and Rosaria is alive even though she was dead before and Leonhard is still at the Firelink Shrine.

If you had the black eye orb then leonhard will never return to firelink, you obviously loaded the wrong backup or did the quest on another charatcer.

Go give Rosaria a tongue and Leonhard should appear at her bonfire.
Make sure you've done all of Leonhard's quest up to that point as well.
It's not rocket science. If he's at firelink, something is uncompleted.

I only had a back up from yesterday and I loaded it because I deleted my main file (accident) and I only have 1 character

The thing is...
I've done all of his quest, I even have the Rosaria Fingers covenant item
I remember dying to him and that's about it
Rosaria was dead and now she's alive...

My question is, HOW?
The only thing I can think of is that Sirris' quest resets Leonhard's?
After I died to him, I did Sirris' quest and beat the game yesterday, and today Leonhard was at Firelink

Edit: That doesn't make sense... I clearly remember Rosaria being dead, but now that I invaded him, I didn't remember the "You feel the Black Eye Orb-----"
So I guess I didn't invade him after all, but Rosaria was certainly dead.
